My mind has entered into the meditation of Rama;
The sorrow of many lifetimes has ended. || 1 ||

Like a honeybee stuck to a flower. || 2 ||
My eyes, like the chakora bird,

The Lord has now revealed Himself from within. || 6 ||
Reflection:
Sant Samarth Ramdas Swami (1608–1681), the spiritual preceptor of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, was a saint of action and devotion. His teachings combined strength of purpose with surrender to Lord Rama. In this bhajan, “Dhyan Lagale Ramache,” Ramdas describes the complete absorption of mind, speech, and senses in divine remembrance. The bee, the chakora, the koel—all become metaphors for a soul immersed in the sweetness of devotion. When the seeker’s heart turns entirely toward Rama, even pain and separation dissolve into bliss. The saint’s realization, “Ramdas and Rama are one,” is not arrogance—it is the end of duality, where the devotee and the Divine merge like river into ocean. This song reminds us that meditation is not an escape but a joyful return to our true nature, the inner Rama shining in silence.
