ರಾಮನಾಮವೆಂಬೋ ನಾಮವ ನೆನೆದರೆ ಭಯವಿಲ್ಲ ಮನಕೆ
ಮೂರು ಲೋಕಕೆ ಕಾರಣ ಕರ್ತಾ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಜಗಕೆ ಶ್ರೀಮನ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ ಜಗಕೆ || PA ||
ಮತ್ಸ್ಯಾವತಾರವ ತಾಳಿದ ರಾಮ ವೇದವ ತರುವದಕೆ |
ಬೆತ್ತವ ಬೆನ್ನಲಿ ಪೊಟ್ಟಿದ ರಾಮ ಕೂರ್ಮಾವತಾರಕ್ಕೆ || 1 ||
ಭೂಮಿಯ ಪೊಟ್ಟು ನೀರೊಳು ಮುಳುಗಿದ ವರಾಹವತಾರಕ್ಕೆ |
ಕರುಳನು ಬಗೆದು ಮಾಲೆಯ ಧರಿಸಿದ ಪ್ರಹ್ಲಾದನಸಲಹುದಕೆ || 2 ||
ಭೂಮಿಯದಾನವ ಬೇಡಿದ ರಾಮ ವಾಮನವತಾರಕ್ಕೆ |
ತಾಯಿಯ ಶಿರವನು ಅಳಿದನು ರಾಮ ಭಾರ್ಗವತಾರಕ್ಕೆ || 3 ||
ವನವಾಸವ ಮಾಡಿದ ರಾಮ ಜನಕನ ವಾಕ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ |
ಮಾವ ಕಂಸನ ಕೊಂದನು ಕೃಷ್ಣ ತಾಯಿಯ ಬಿಡಿಸಲಿಕ್ಕೆ || 4 ||
ಸತಿಯರ ವ್ರತಗಳ ಕೆಡಿಸಿದ ರಾಮ ತ್ರಿಪುರರ ಸಲಹುದಕ್ಕೆ |
ವಾಹನ ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತುರಗವ ನೇರಿದ ಕಲ್ಯವತಾರಕ್ಕೆ || 5 ||

English Meaning
1. The name of Rama, when remembered, removes all fear from the mind.
He is the cause of the three worlds, the Creator, Narayana, and the Lord of the universe, Sriman Narayana.
2. Rama, who took the Matsya (fish) avatar, brought the Vedas to the world.
He, who in his Kurma (tortoise) avatar, carried the mountain on his back.
3. Rama, in his Varaha (boar) avatar, rescued the Earth from the ocean.
He, in his Narsimha (man-lion) avatar, destroyed the demon Hiranyakashipu and protected Prahlada.
4. Rama, in his Vamana (dwarf) avatar, asked for three paces of land and conquered the world.
In his Bhargava (Brahmin) avatar, he killed the demon Ravana to free his mother from grief.
5. Rama, who undertook exile, kept the words of King Janaka.
Krishna, who killed Kamsa, freed his mother from her troubles.
6. Rama, who broke the vows of Sati (devoted women) in his battle against the demon Tripura.
The Lord, who left his chariot and rode on horseback, in his Kalyavatara (auspicious form).
7. The dark-hued Rama, who possesses immense power, is the Lord of the world.
He is the Lord, Shri Purandara Vithala, and Rama, the Govinda of the universe.
