सारे एकरूप नाही भेदभाव
गाऊ नाचू सारे होऊनी नि:संग ॥1॥
जनसेवेपायी काया झिजवावी
घाव सोसुनिया मने रिझवावी
ताल देऊनी हा बोलतो मृदंग ॥2॥
ब्रम्हानंदी देह बुडूनिया जाई
एक एक खांब वारकरी होई
कैलासाचा नाथ झाला पांडुरंग ॥3॥

Taal bole chipalila naach majhya sang
Devajichya daari aaj rangla abhang ||Dhru||
Darbaari aale rank aani raav
Saare ekaroop naahi bhedbhaav

Ghaav sosuniya mane rijhavaavi
Taal deouni haa bolto mridang ||2||
Brahmaanandi deh budooniya jaai

The taal calls to the cymbals, come dance with me!
At the doorstep of the Lord, today is a celebration of unending devotion. ||Dhru||
Beggar and king have come to the royal court—
All are one; there is no distinction or pride.
We sing and dance, free from all attachment. ||1||
Offer your body in service of humanity,
Endure the blows, yet melt hearts with love—
Let your rhythm speak like the mridangam. ||2||
Immersed in divine bliss, the body forgets itself.
Each pillar becomes a pilgrim in this devotion.
The Lord of Kailasa has taken form as Pandurang. ||3||

This powerful abhang beautifully captures the spirit of collective devotion where musical instruments, common people, and kings unite at the feet of the Divine. The opening verse sets a scene of joyous surrender—where rhythm itself becomes a medium of union with God.
There’s a deep message of equality here. In the divine court, there are no hierarchies—only oneness. The second verse reminds us that true service requires sacrifice, resilience, and inner sweetness. The beating of the mridang becomes symbolic of both pain and divine expression.
The final verse elevates this collective joy into divine absorption. When devotion deepens, identity dissolves. Each devotee, like a pillar, stands strong in faith. The imagery of Lord Shiva himself becoming Pandurang suggests the supreme merging of forms in the house of bhakti. A call to dance not just with the body, but with the soul.
