Reflective Commentary :
This sweet bhajan by Mohanadasaru is a loving prayer to Lord Venkatesha, who lives on the Venkatadri hills. The devotee asks Him to reveal Himself to Goddess Lakshmi, and remembers Him as Krishna—the son of Devaki and Vasudeva—who brought joy to everyone around Him.
The Lord is praised as Govinda, the protector of cows, and Mukunda, the giver of peace and liberation. He is full of love for His devotees, blesses them happily, and destroys great demons to protect the world. The song ends by recalling how He once lifted a mountain to save His people, and lovingly calls Him Nammappa—our very own Lord who always takes care of us.
