विश्वाचा विश्राम रे, स्वामी माझा राम रे

🌸 English Meaning:
He is the true rest of the universe—my Lord, my Ram.
His abode is pure bliss; let my speech sing only His name. ||1||

He is the mine of supreme consciousness, suddenly realized,
O beloved! He is the very breath of life; bring me to Him. ||2||

He is the God of all gods, self-manifested,
Though invisible, He gives witness and fills me with divine grace. ||3||

He is the peace of Shiva, fulfilling the devotee's desire.
Liberated yogis sing of Him with desireless hearts. ||4||

This world offers countless illusions, but only Ram is truth.
He is Vishnu, Krishna, Jagannath—He gives us the light of discernment. ||5||

🪔 Reflection:
This deeply meditative bhajan sings of Lord Ram not just as a deity, but as the ultimate stillness, joy, and inner resting place of the entire universe. The devotee acknowledges Ram as the supreme essence behind all existence—the energy behind life, the soul of the soul.

Each stanza peels away layers of illusion, pointing us toward that one truth—Ram as the divine Self, beyond all form, yet deeply present. The bhajan touches non-duality gently while staying rooted in bhakti rasa, where yogis, sages, and saints celebrate the same Lord beyond desire or attachment.

The final verse especially strikes a note of clarity: among the many temporary things in this world, only Ram is real. In a world of illusions and distractions, this becomes a call to return to the inner source—to discern, to devote, and to find peace.
