(By Saint Eknath Maharaj)

English Meaning:
How can this be the behavior of a god? This god seems to be lame in one leg, moving deceitfully.
He goes to the cowherd's house, steals yogurt and milk, and then makes a dessert out of it.
He breaks the churning sticks, smashes the pots, and scatters the butter everywhere.
He goes to desolate places, sings devotional songs (kirtan), and even quarrels with the saints.
O woman, serve alms to Janardana’s godly son, who is none other than the young one of Eknath.
