ಕರದಿ ಕಂಬಿಯ ಪೊತ್ತು ತಿರುಗುತಲಿರುವೆ

ವೇಳವೇಳೆಗೆ ನಾನೂಳಿಗವ ಮಾಡುವೆ 

ಆಲವಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಚಾಮರವ ಬೀಸುವೆ  

ತಾಳದಂಡಿಗೆ ಭೃಂಗಿ  ಮೇಳಗಳ ಕೂಡಿ 

ಶ್ರೀಲೋಲನ ನಾಮ ಕೊಂಡಾಡುತ || ೩ || 

ಮೀಸಲೂಳಿಗವ ನಾ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವೆ

Alavattige chamara beesuve

English Meaning

As a servant, I guard the door for Shri Hari. || P ||

In the beautiful house of Vaikuntha's servants. || A.P ||

I circle the outer courtyard and come inside, I observe and let in those who come and go, Standing there with a club in my hand, I am in the ocean of Shri Hari's protection. || 1 ||

As a humble servant, I guard the door, In the decorated hall, I carry the royal umbrella, I place the pearl garlands and paint the floor, I spread the jeweled carpets. || 2 ||

At appropriate times, I serve the inner chambers, I fan with the chamara in the hall, With the sound of cymbals and the gathering of musicians, I sing praises of the beloved Shri Hari. || 3 ||

I illuminate the flowing courtyards, I wash the lotus feet of the lotus-naveled one, I bring and offer garlands of fragrant flowers, In the evening, I am the servant of the Lord. || 4 ||

I have dedicated myself to this inner service, I partake in the prasada of Shesha, Sheshagiri Kagineleya Adikeshava, In the house of the servants of the servants. || 5 ||
