🔤 English Transliteration:
Parvati bhaktara sarathi vandite
Surapati gajamukha murti mate ||1||

Manadabhimaniye nenevenu ninna
Anusarisennanu ambuja paani ||2||

Mangale mridana antarangale haripada

🌸 English Meaning:
O revered one, the charioteer of Parvati’s devotees,
You are the mother of Surapati and Gajamukha (Indra and Ganesha). ||1||

O pride of the heart, I remember You—
Guide me always, O Lotus-Handed One. ||2||

Auspicious One, dwelling in Shiva’s heart, at Hari’s feet—
Like a bee to the lotus, like a crest adorned with serpents. ||3||

You, the queen of Shooli (Shiva),
Are capable of granting the vision of noble Gopala Vitthala. ||4||

🪔 Reflection:
This bhajan is a delicate and rich invocation to the Divine Mother—celebrated here not just as Parvati, but as the universal guide, protector, and granter of divine vision. She is addressed as the mother of the gods and the spiritual charioteer of her devotees—meaning one who drives the hearts of bhaktas towards God-realization.

Each verse carries symbolic imagery: the Lotus-Handed One represents purity and divine touch, the bee around the lotus of Hari’s feet symbolizes unwavering devotion, and the mention of “pannaga veni” (serpent-adorned hair) ties the mother closely with her consort Shiva. Most beautifully, the final stanza expresses the deep yearning of a bhakta—for the vision of Gopala Vitthala, Krishna in his sweetest form, to be revealed by the grace of the Divine Mother.

This bhajan softly weaves together devotion, divine imagery, and surrender—making it not just a song but a meditative journey into the heart of Shakti and bhakti.
