Chorus
Victory, victory to the aarti of Nityananda,
Govinda who appears in a beautiful divine form.
Victory, victory to the aarti of Nityananda.

||1||
You came first as Lord Dattatreya,
Then as Shripada Shrivallabha,
Then as Narahari (Narasimha Saraswati),
And you revealed your divine play in Ganagapur.

||2||
You became Manik Prabhu,
You became Akkalkot Swami,
You became Shirdi Sai Nath,
Yes, Shirdi Sai Nath again,
And in Kali Yuga you became Nityananda.

||3||
In this way you took many sacred forms,
You live in Ganeshpuri,
You fulfil the heartfelt wishes of devotees,
And you are dearly loved by children too.

Victory:
Sadgurunath Maharaj ki Jai!

🪔 Reflection :

At the sacred Bhagavan Nithyanand Ashram in Ganeshpuri, this bhajan is played every day during pooja at the time of aarti. That daily rhythm itself is beautiful—because it turns devotion into a living habit, not just an occasional feeling. Bhagavan Nithyanand, the great saint and Siddha Purusha of the early 1900s, is remembered for his silent presence, simple life, and powerful blessings. His name is deeply connected with Ganeshpuri, where his ashram and samadhi became a spiritual home for seekers, and also with Kanhangad in Kerala, where devotees still feel his divine touch.

This bhajan feels like a loving roll-call of the Guru’s grace. It tells us something comforting: the Divine does not stay far away. Again and again, in different times and places, the same compassion returns to guide sincere hearts. By naming Datta, Shripada, Narahari, Ganagapur, Manik Prabhu, Akkalkot Swami, and Shirdi Sai Nath, the song shows one simple truth—one light shines through many lamps. So when it is sung daily in Ganeshpuri, it becomes more than a song—it becomes a reminder that the Guru’s presence is continuous, living, and close.

The line “Balana bahu aavadashi” is especially touching, because true holiness feels warm and safe even to children. While the aarti flame moves in circles, it’s like our restless mind also slowly learns to return to the centre. Do we remember the Guru in our daily routines, not only in big moments? Can we feel this same steady presence in our own home and heart? May this daily aarti bring us faith, sweetness, and quiet strength—day after day. 🙏✨

Lyrics: Sant Tukaram Maharaj

🌸 English Meaning:

We now return to our true home;
accept our humble salutation of “Ram Ram.” (1)

In this rare meeting between you and us,
may all cycles of birth silently dissolve. (2)

Let compassion flow now,
as we rest our hearts at your sacred feet. (3)

When anyone approaches the final abode,
may their voice gently chant “Vitthala Vitthala.” (4)

Let the name of Rama and Krishna shine on the lips,
for Tukaram journeys toward Vaikuntha. (5)

🪔 Reflection:
Tukaram’s verses often read like farewell songs sung on the threshold between worlds. This abhang carries the tenderness of a pilgrim bowing before departure, yet its meaning stretches far beyond a literal journey. Sant Tukaram, rooted in the world yet unbound by it, reminds us that every profound encounter is a chance to loosen the knots of rebirth. The repeated call to chant “Vitthala” becomes a gentle reminder that the simplest devotion can lift the heaviest burdens. How do we greet each moment—like a casual visitor, or like a seeker returning home? And when life nudges us toward its deeper truths, what sacred name rises on our lips? This song invites you to pause, breathe, and feel the quiet clarity that devotion can bring. It becomes a doorway to your own inner Vaikuntha, where surrender turns into peace.
