We have no attachments or desires—we are like the gentle pollen of flowers, carried by the wind. ||2||
We have no fixed name or form; our true nature is vast and open, like the blue sky or a wisp of incense. ||3||
Just as flowers offered in worship complete their purpose, death too becomes a sacred offering—pure and beautiful. ||4||

📜 Historical note: The music for this bhajan was composed and sung by Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki, a major 20th-century Hindustani vocalist and composer who helped revive Marathi musical theatre and blended classical and devotional idioms. The lyricist credited for the poem is Ba.
