ಘುಡುಘುಡಿಸಿ ಕಂಬದಲಿ ಧಡಧಡ ಸಿಡಿಲು ಸಿಡಿಯೆ
ಕಿಡಿಕಿಡಿಸೆ ನುಡಿಯಡಗಲೊಡನೆ ಮುಡಿವಿಡಿದು
ಘಡ ಘಡನೆ ನಡು ನಡುಗೆ ಘುಡುಘುಡಿಸಿ ಸಭೆ ಬೆದರೆ
ಹಿಡಿ ಹಿಡಿದು ಹಿರಣ್ಯಕನ ತೊಡೆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೆಡಹಿದನ ।। 1 ।।

The people rejoiced, the heavens rained flowers,
Instruments played in divine celebration.
The Lord, ever compassionate Kaginele Adikeshava,
