He wears a yellow garment,
His hand resting on His waist,

Together, O devotees, chant His name loudly.
Keep His divine form in the heart,
And He will destroy all your suffering. ॥2॥
Remembering Vitthala burns away sins
As heavy as mountains.
He destroys the dark forest
Of accumulated evil. ॥3॥

Friend and companion too.
