The servant of Hari has no fear or anxiety,

Sant Tukaram Maharaj (1608–1649), one of Maharashtra’s greatest Bhakti saints, lived and breathed the name of Lord Vitthala (Panduranga). His abhangas were not composed from luxury or leisure, but from the depth of devotion born in struggle and surrender. This bhajan, “Harichiya Dasa Nahi Bhayachinta”, radiates his central teaching — that one who truly surrenders to God lives beyond fear, sorrow, and restlessness. For Tukaram, devotion (bhakti) is not escapism but the highest courage — a fearless trust that the Divine carries our burdens when we let go of ego.
The song reminds us that the real strength of a devotee lies in his inner peace (samadhan) and unwavering faith that Narayana is always close.
