ಮೋಸ ಹೋದೆನಲ್ಲ ಸಕಲವು ವಾಸುದೇವ ಬಲ್ಲ || ಪ ||

ಭಾಸುರಂಗ ಶ್ರೀ ವಾಸುಕಿ ಶಯನನ
ಸಾಸಿರ ನಾಮವ ಲೇಸಾಗಿ ಭಜಿಸದೆ || ಅ.ಪ ||

ಕಾಯವು ಸ್ಥಿರವಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನೊಳು ಮಾಯೆತುಂಬಿತಲ್ಲ
ಪ್ರಾಯ ಮದದಿ ಪರಸ್ತ್ರೀಯರ ಕೂಡಾಡಿ
ಕಾಯಜ ನೈಯನ ಗಾಯನ ಮಾಡದೆ || ೧ ||

ದುಷ್ಟಜನರ ಕೂಡಿ ನಾ ಅತಿ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟನಾದೆ ನೋಡಿ
ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಮೂರುತಿ ಮುರ ಮುಷ್ಟಿಕ ವೈರಿ
ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಿಂದಲಿ ನಾ ದೃಷ್ಠಿಸಿ ನೋಡದೆ || ೨ ||

ಕಂಗಳಿಂದಲಿ ನೋಡೊ ದೇವಾ
ನಿನ್ನಂಗ ಸಂಗ ನೀಡೋ
ಮಂಗಳ ಮೂರುತಿ ರಂಗವಿಠಲ
ಮುಂದೆ ಅಂಗ ಕೊಟ್ಟಂತೆ ದಯ ಮಾಡೊ || ೩ ||

🌸 English Meaning

I wasn’t deceived by others—
It was I who knowingly abandoned everything.
O Vasudeva, you know it all. || P ||

O resplendent one, resting on the serpent Vasuki,
Without even lightly chanting your thousand names, I drifted away. || A.P ||

This body is not permanent; it is filled with illusion.
In the arrogance of age and desire, I mingled with others’ wives,
And failed to engage my body, eyes, or voice in your praise. || 1 ||

I fell into corruption by associating with the wicked.
O Krishna, destroyer of Mura and Mushtika,
I failed to behold you with sincere devotion. || 2 ||

O Lord, let my eyes see you,
Grant me closeness to your divine form.
O auspicious Ranga Vittala,
Be gracious as though you’ve already embraced me. || 3 ||

🙏 Reflection 

This bhajan by Sri Sripadarajaru  is like talking directly to God with an open heart. The poet honestly says, “It’s my own mistake. I got carried away in worldly pleasures and forgot to chant your name.” He doesn’t blame anyone. He just admits his faults and asks God for mercy.

This is something we all can relate to. Many times, we forget God in our busy life. We keep running behind desires, pride, and wrong company. But this bhajan reminds us that it's never too late. If we pray with a true heart, God will surely forgive and accept us.

In the end, the poet asks just one thing: “Let me see you, O Lord. Please come near and be kind to me.” That’s the prayer we can all hold in our hearts — simple, honest, and full of love.
