English Meaning
Salutations again and again to you, O Lord Narayana,
Praised by the sage Narada, the divine bard.
O destroyer of the demon Mura, remover of worldly sorrow, Mukunda, Mādhava,
You travel on Garuda and bear the lotus on your navel.
Supreme Being, liberator from the bondage of birth and death,
Who took the forms of man and beast—my salutations to you.
Who reclines on the ocean, whose eyes are the Sun and Moon,
Whose feet are worshipped by the creator Brahma seated on the lotus.
Who subdued the demon King Bali, beloved of the cowherd maidens,
O lotus-eyed one, I bow to you again and again.
The primal deity worshipped by all scriptures,
Whose enchanting form belongs to the Yādava lineage.
Uplifter of the Vedas, the Lord of Venkata hills,
Lover of divine music—salutations again and again.
